Need a better way to manage files and programs on your desktop?
From what I have seen, people either have really busy desktops
with icons everywhere or a clean desktop with nothing to be
seen. I think both of these types of desktops could find a nice
balance with SideSlide. So what is this freeware program all
about? By using containers you can shrink and fold, linking
containers to actual folders on disk, launch groups that allow
you to start multiple programs at once, zooming in and out of
shortcuts, different colors, different size pictures, picture
containers and colored notes. SideSlide makes organizing your
day to day desktop activity so much easier. The only complaint
that I would have is that right out of the box, it is not the
prettiest program to look at. It is totally free though, so you
have no reason not to give it a shot.

Kurlo v1.3 [2589k] [Win 98/ME/NT/2k/XP] [FREE]
Kurlo is a portable contact manager that can be installed on
your PC or a USB drive or other portable device. It provides an
easy-to-use interface and a surprising range of features that
extend the functionality beyond that of a simple address book.
In addition to detailed contacts records and personal
categories, it can notify you of birthdays, anniversaries, and
other events, and even includes emailing features to send
messages to selected contacts or mailing lists. Kurlo can also
help you print address labels and envelopes using selected
contacts from your database. Other features include advanced
search, import/export, data backup, and more.
